When you press the email button, QwikQuote will try to create PDF file first.
To identify the error spot, try pressing the PDF button in the Quote View first to see if it can create a PDF file.

The error message shows that there is a permission error – not allowing changes to the layout file.
1st check to make sure the layout file is not set to read only.
2nd try to give QwikQuote users FULL control rights over QQ6 folder as follows:
