Selecting and saving the columns with the desired layouts.
You can develop an unlimited number of different QwikQuote templates. You can select from these previously created templates when writing a quote.
You can also associate a customized quote order with the layout:
The association between the desired layout and the desired quote order makes up a quote. All quotes can be saved with your chosen relationship. When a previously saved quote (.qte) is opened, it will load with the previously saved layout/quote-order relationship. You can keep the layout and/or the quote-order. Or you can change it Here are your options to change and save the currently loaded quote or a new quote.
RESET COLUMNS
In the QUOTE view, you can select “Reset Columns” to restore the quote-order to the factory set default. This option changes the quote order but does not save it.
LOAD COLUMNS FROM LAYOUT
If the desired quote-order is already saved with a particular layout, select the layout, then select the menu choice “Load Columns from Layout”. This does not save anything. It prints the desired formatting on the screen but does not save it.
SAVE COLUMNS TO LAYOUT
When you wish to preserve the new association between layout and quote –order, you can connect the two together by selecting the “Save Columns to Layout” option. This is only temporary and does not save it to your computer.
FINAL SAVE TO DISK
When you are finished selecting the desired layout and quote-order, you can save this combination to disk using the FILE/SAVE menu selection. You can save as soon you select the desired layout/columns relationship and enter a new quote number, or you can complete the quote before saving everything together.
